Role Overview
This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing acute medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment, assess patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Promote patient and family education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and document care plans with clear goals, coordinating communication across care teams.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural backgrounds.
- Maintain safety standards, demonstrating alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-acuity setting.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
