Seeking a travel RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Chillicothe, Ohio, starting ASAP, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.
The RN in the PCU provides intermediate care for patients recovering from surgery or acute conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and managing complex cases.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, post-surgical care, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Educate patients and families, document care accurately, and follow safety and infection control protocols.
Respond rapidly to emergencies, perform advanced life support, and participate in quality improvement.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, support staff, and serve as a resource for less experienced nurses.
