Seeking a travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Roanoke, VA, starting 08/04/2025, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour day shifts in the PCU.
Provides intermediate care for patients recovering from surgery, procedures, or with acute conditions requiring close monitoring.
Performs patient assessments, monitors vital signs, arrhythmias, and lab results, and responds to changes.
Administers medications, manages telemetry and complex conditions like heart failure or respiratory distress.
Collaborates with healthcare team to develop care plans and educates patients/families on recovery and lifestyle adjustments.
Documents all interventions accurately, follows infection control protocols, and responds to emergencies with ALS as needed.
Works within hospital policies, participates in quality improvement, and supports team collaboration.
