Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting 08/25/2025 in Shiloh, Illinois.
Provides comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health, perform tests, and educate patients about labor and delivery.
Support labor through monitoring contractions, administering medications, and offering emotional support.
Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and neonatal resuscitation.
Postpartum, monitor recovery, support breastfeeding, and educate families.
Document care accurately, communicate with the healthcare team, and follow infection control protocols.
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies and high-risk complications.
Advocate for patient needs and ensure informed decision-making.
The position involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week, with a pay package based on shifts, including a potential tax-free stipend.
