Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care/Orthopedic/Trauma Surgery – Part Time – Days

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care using evidence-based practices, ensuring individualized treatment that respects cultural diversity. They actively partner with patients and families, utilizing effective communication methods such as bedside reports and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing processes, promoting optimal patient outcomes through analytical and critical thinking.
  • Deliver relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate and document safe, quality care, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research and evidence-based practice, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and serve as a preceptor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.
  • Engage in resource planning, protocol development, and adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and documentation tools.
