Registered Nurse – Acute Care Cardiovascular Stroke Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education.
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice discussions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment with mentorship and shared governance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Current RN licensure and certification, with ACLS certification for specific units.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment with a commitment to safety and quality.
