Role: The Resident Care Director (RCD) is the clinical leader responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination within a community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
- Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Monitor changes in resident conditions and collaborate with physicians and clinical partners
- Oversee medication management and infection control initiatives
- Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
- Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state/provincial, and nursing regulations
- Recruit, train, and manage clinical staff performance
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budget
- Partner with sales to evaluate move-in suitability
Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Strong clinical leadership and nursing management experience
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and infection control protocols
- Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent team management and collaboration skills
