Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focusing on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to established standards. Educate patients and families on disease management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality, and compliance while participating in professional development. Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients. Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Maintain safety and alertness as this role is safety-sensitive.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. Licenses: Valid RN license. Experience: No prior experience required; two years of nursing experience preferred. Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.Additional Information:Provides care for moderate to high acuity patients with complex interventions, coordinated by a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and physicians.
