Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care, documentation, and education with a team approach.
- Perform assessments, collaborate with healthcare team, and verify orders.
- Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and analyze arterial blood gases.
- Educate patients, mentor staff and students, and assist with invasive/non-invasive procedures.
- Promote safe practices, high-quality care, and evidence-based practice through performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy.
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS.
- 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills.
