We are seeking a Full-Time MR Technologist (Imaging) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced, academic medical center environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for imaging studies
- Performing studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations
- Ensuring quality control of imaging procedures
Qualifications and skills:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from trade school or higher
- Preferred experience in MRI, CT, radiology, or related modalities (<2 years is ideal)
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and additional certifications like CPR and IV therapy are advantageous
