Position: Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Unit
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient assessments and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Coordinating individualized care plans to ensure safe, timely, and effective interventions.
- Communicating clearly with patients and staff via in-person, phone, and written methods.
- Providing tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing license in Illinois.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
