Role Overview:
Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists or physicians, assisting in interventional and special procedures such as biopsies, ablations, myelography, and arthography. Support radiologists during complex procedures and ensure patient care and safety throughout. Be available for on-call duties if required, apply radiation safety principles, and organize daily schedules to assist the CT team effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Graduate of an accredited imaging program with clinical experience.
– ARRT (R) (CT) certification and BLS certification required.
– State licensure may be necessary depending on location.
– Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements.
