Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Key Duties: Managing ventilators, airway procedures, arterial blood gases, and aerosolized therapies; providing patient and family education; collaborating with healthcare teams; mentoring staff and students; ensuring patient safety and quality care; participating in performance improvement and evidence-based practices; and supporting invasive procedures and diagnostic testing.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy; active certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT; 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care; strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; and experience with patient assessment and team collaboration.
