Role Overview:
The Nuclear Medicine – Team Lead supports the workflow of Nuclear Medical Technologists, performing and assisting with diagnostic and cardiac Nuclear Medicine procedures. They serve as a functional supervisor or team leader for support staff, ensuring efficient operations and quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative support to team members
- Lead nonexempt support tasks and evaluate daily schedules for coverage
- Implement and modify operational procedures within guidelines
- Guide staff on workflow and suggest improvements
- Support performance evaluations and monitor service quality
- Act as a point of contact for patient issues and supervise in the absence of management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification as a CNMT or RT(N) registered with ARRT or NMTCB
- CPR certification; ACLS may be required based on specialty
- At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine scanning experience and 3+ years of broad-based NM technologist experience
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and strong interpersonal skills
