MRI Technologist – 3 days per week – Kenmore – Atrius Health

Position Overview:
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment, position patients, and administer contrast media
  • Review patient history and monitor patient condition during procedures
  • Ensure safety protocols, infection control, and proper film critique
  • Assist with quality assurance activities and manage daily schedules
  • Transport patients, provide pre-procedure communication, and support staff with bookings
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area cleanliness
  • May instruct students and participate in staff meetings and training

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a CT/MRI Technologist and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Proven technical problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities
  • ACLS may be required; BLS preferred
  • 2+ years of MRI experience is preferred
