We are seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) for a part-time role in the Ultrasound – Fertility department, working 16 hours weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography following established policies and procedures.
Reporting to a radiology or ultrasound coordinator.
Obtaining certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer within one year if hired as a general sonographer.
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonographic program and ARDMS certification.
At least 2 years of ultrasound experience.
Preferred skills and experience:
CPR certification (BLS), ACLS may be required depending on specialty.
Experience in breast ultrasound and biopsies.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and handle changing department needs.
Compensation and benefits:
Hourly pay ranges from $35.00 to $62.50, based on experience and qualifications.
