Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Join our dynamic IN-HOUSE rehab team as a Speech Language Pathologist and make a meaningful impact in residents’ lives.

Our goal is to provide compassionate, innovative, and high-quality care in a home-like environment, addressing each individual’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate residents for swallowing and cognitive deficits
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve cognition and swallowing
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapy goals and techniques
  • Provide AAC systems for severe communication disorders
  • Coordinate diagnostic procedures (MBSS, FEES) with professionals
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing
  • Respond promptly to family concerns and collaborate with care teams
  • Ensure resident safety and confidentiality, adhering to legal standards

Requirements:

  • Active Texas license and current ASHA Certification
  • Good standing with regulatory agencies
