The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering direct, quality clinical care and supervising nursing assistants for assigned residents.
Key duties include:
- Conducting daily resident visits to assess physical and emotional well-being, reporting changes to the charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing.
- Identifying resident issues and emergency situations, initiating lifesaving measures if needed.
- Providing holistic care within the scope of LPN licensure.
- Monitoring medication, medical supplies, and equipment inventory to ensure adequacy.
- Completing medical documentation, reports, and charting accurately.
- Reporting occupational exposures per facility policies.
The role includes working a minimum of two weekend shifts with additional shift differentials and incentives.
Qualifications:
- Valid state LPN license.
- Current CPR certification.
