We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the General Cardiology team at a new medical center.
Responsibilities include: providing comprehensive inpatient cardiac care to adult patients, performing history and physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, developing treatment plans, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, conducting hospital rounds and follow-up visits, managing discharge planning, participating in outpatient clinics, and educating patients and families about cardiac conditions and preventive care.
Qualifications: graduate from an accredited NP or PA program, current Georgia licensure or eligibility, board certification (NP or PA-C), BLS and ACLS certifications, with a strong preference for at least 1 year of cardiology or inpatient APP experience. Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills are essential.
