We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the General Cardiology team at a new medical center.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The role involves hospital rounds, follow-up visits, discharge planning, patient education, and managing chronic cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
Qualifications required are graduation from an accredited NP or PA program, current Georgia licensure or eligibility, board certification (NP or PA-C), BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably at least 1 year of cardiology or inpatient APP experience. Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills are essential.
