Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams under physician supervision to identify abnormalities, supporting accurate patient diagnosis. It is ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field with minimal experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ultrasound exams following protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Coordinate appointments with medical staff, patients, and caregivers. Educate patients on procedures, prepare them for exams, and document results accurately. Maintain equipment, work areas, and supplies; support quality improvement initiatives. Mentor colleagues and students, participate in educational activities. Communicate effectively with patients and team members throughout procedures.Qualifications & Skills: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in sonography, digital tools, clinical care, and patient instruction. Strong time management, risk management, and teamwork skills.Additional Requirements: Physical ability to perform patient transfers, operate equipment, and navigate busy environments. Preferred: a bachelor’s degree, 1+ year experience, and advanced certifications.
