Vascular Surgery PCU – Clinical RN (Day Shift) → Vascular Surgery RN (Day Shift)

Role Overview:

Provides comprehensive pre/post-operative nursing care for patients with peripheral vascular disease, including procedures such as aneurysm repairs, carotid interventions, dialysis access, thrombolysis, and bypass surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-treatment care.

Promote patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

Develop individualized care plans aligned with nursing standards and communicate across care continuum.

Utilize critical thinking to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Participate in professional development and ensure safe practice in a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
Licenses: RN license required.
Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, arterial line monitoring, pacer wires certification desired.
