Role Overview:
The Registered Vascular Sonographer performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams on adult and pediatric patients, including carotid, venous, arterial, peripheral, and abdominal studies. They may also conduct vascular procedures as needed.
Key responsibilities include conducting vascular imaging, ensuring accurate documentation, operating and maintaining equipment, and performing studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher)
- ARDMS or CCI registration as RVS or RVT
- Preferred experience in vascular, diagnostic sonography, or related fields; no experience required but 2+ years is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Ensure equipment functionality and readiness
- Possess valid licenses/certifications (RVT, RVS or equivalent)
