Job Summary:
Provide nursing care to a defined patient group in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment similar to an emergency department. Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and prioritize patient needs. Offer patient and family education, support health promotion, and ensure safety and infection control standards are maintained. Demonstrate effective communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment across diverse age groups and medical conditions. Participate in ongoing education, quality assurance, and professional development activities. Adhere to organizational policies, including documentation and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington RN license or Compact License.
- Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
- Skills in communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making.
- Preferred: ambulatory, primary, case management, or emergency department nursing experience; BSN; Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
