This role involves providing independent clinical care in an urgent care setting, including diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as infections, injuries, and minor illnesses.
Requires a medical degree from an accredited school, with 2-5 years of post-residency experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency medicine. Must be Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, with active state licensure. Responsibilities include patient examinations, medical histories, diagnostics, prescriptions, minor injury treatment, patient education, and referrals. Supervises and collaborates with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners remotely, including credentialing and signoff duties. Shift hours typically range from 8 to 12 hours, with all other duties assigned as needed. Strong communication, customer service, and EMR experience are preferred.
