This position is for a Physician in a Clinical Services Provider department, primarily within joint ventures.
Responsibilities include independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, prescribing medications, and managing minor procedures like suturing and splinting. They will also record patient notes, educate patients, and refer as needed.
The role involves supervising and collaborating with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners remotely, including credentialing and signoff duties.
Requirements include a medical degree from an accredited school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine. Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience and active medical licensure are essential. Preferred skills include familiarity with Electronic Medical Records, strong communication, and attentive listening skills.
