This position is for a Physician responsible for independently providing clinical services in an urgent care setting.
Responsibilities include examining and treating patients, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, and educating patients.
Requirements include a medical degree from an accredited school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Active medical licensure is essential.
Preferred skills include experience with Electronic Medical Records, strong communication, attentive listening, and customer service.
Physicians may supervise Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners remotely and act as collaborating physicians. Work shifts are typically 8 or 12 hours.
