Unit Manager, RN → Nurse Unit Manager

Role Overview:

The Unit Manager/Director – RN supports the Director of Nursing by overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate nursing and patient care to align with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient/resident outcomes.
  • Manage human resources, including staffing, recruiting, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care.
  • Ability to manage staff and foster a collaborative environment.
