Role Overview:
This position involves performing ultrasound imaging, including breast, abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular scans, to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The sonographer ensures equipment functionality, conducts examinations independently, and documents procedures accurately. Responsibilities may include on-call, portable exams, and working at various sites as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RDMS or equivalent certification required; breast sonography experience preferred
- High proficiency in mammography and breast ultrasound is highly favored
- Experience in breast sonography, ultrasound technology, or diagnostic medical sonography is advantageous
- CPR certification and RDCS or equivalent credentials preferred for advanced roles
Key Duties:
- Maintain proper equipment function and readiness
- Perform ultrasound examinations ensuring proper documentation
- Work independently, including on-call and portable exams
