Ultrasound Sonographer (RDMS)

Role Overview

Seeking a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) to perform ultrasound imaging, including breast, abdominal, and obstetric scans, for diagnosis and treatment assistance. The role involves ensuring equipment functionality, independently conducting ultrasound studies, and documenting procedures. Experience in mammography and breast ultrasound is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound imaging examinations with proper documentation
  • Ensure equipment readiness and proper function
  • Conduct studies independently; may include on-call, portable, or site-specific exams
  • Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages
  • Maintain safety and quality standards
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • RDMS or equivalent certification required
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience and additional certifications like RDCS or CPR
  • Educational background: Associate degree or trade school equivalency
  • Experience in breast sonography, ultrasound, or mammography is advantageous
  • Additional Requirements

  • Perform imaging on adult/pediatric patients, including vascular imaging if needed
  • Maintain proper documentation and equipment readiness
  • Possibility of working at various sites and performing portable exams
