Travel Oncology Registered Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based cancer care across hospitals and clinics.
Key Duties
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy safely and effectively.
- Assess patients, monitor symptoms and side effects, and manage care needs.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, symptom management, and supportive care.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support and implement treatment plans.
- Ensure safe medication practices and adherence to oncology nursing protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure with oncology experience or strong oncology nursing background.
- Proficiency in chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and side-effect monitoring.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and patient-centered communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Thorough knowledge of medication safety and documentation in EMR systems.
