We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for a travel assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients during cardiovascular surgeries.
- Assist in preparing the operating room, ensuring sterile equipment and supplies are ready.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Position patients safely, handle specimens accurately, and support post-surgical care.
- Respond to intraoperative emergencies and adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain proficiency in cardiothoracic procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of one year recent CVOR RN experience.
- Valid RN license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move equipment, position patients, and work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently or with a team, and maintain attention to detail.
