Role: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing specialized patient care in a telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac monitoring, assessment, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, observe and record patient responses, respond to emergencies, educate patients on cardiac health, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of one year recent telemetry experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
