Role: The Med Surg Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, document care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage multiple patients, ensure safety and infection control, advocate for patients, and facilitate discharge planning.
Qualifications & Skills: At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS certification; preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, physical stamina, interpersonal skills, technical proficiency, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
