Role: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment, responsible for managing the care of adult patients with critical health issues requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, education, and family support
- Operate and monitor life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes
- Observe vital signs for signs of distress and respond accordingly
- Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters
- Document medication administration meticulously
- Assist in emergency procedures and perform CPR accurately
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
- Additional requirements as determined by the client facility
