Travel MedSurg RN delivers comprehensive bedside care to adult patients on a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
- Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications and provide IV therapy.
- Provide wound care and post-operative care.
- Develop, implement, and update care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Document care accurately in the EHR.
- Educate patients and families on care and recovery.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards while adapting quickly to a new hospital environment.
Qualifications & Skills: RN experience in Med-Surg, strong clinical assessment and bedside care skills, proficiency with IV therapy and wound/post-op care, effective medication administration, clear communication for patient/family education, accurate EHR documentation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
