Role: Long Term Care RN responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a facility setting.
Key Responsibilities: Assess resident health, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor for changes, support and supervise nursing staff, educate residents and families, document care and health updates, respond to emergencies, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications: Minimum one year of recent LTC RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS and additional certifications preferred.
Skills: Critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to perform procedures, interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams, technical proficiency, and mental resilience to handle pressure and irregular schedules.
