Seeking an experienced Long Term Care RN for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing skilled nursing care, developing and updating personalized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring residents’ health and condition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient health and responding to changes
- Supervising and supporting nursing staff
- Educating residents and families on treatments and chronic condition management
- Documenting care and resident progress
- Responding to emergencies and coordinating with healthcare teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and skills required:
- One year of recent LTC RN experience
- Valid RN license and BLS/CPR certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform essential tasks and move equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to regulatory standards
Preferred qualifications include ACLS certification and other facility-specific certifications.
