We are seeking a skilled ER RN for a travel assignment focused on delivering high-quality, rapid-response care in a fast-paced emergency department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patient care upon arrival
- Administering medications, treatments, and emergency procedures
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort, documenting assessments and interventions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Responding effectively to life-threatening situations following protocols
- Educating patients and families about treatments and care plans
- Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications and skills required:
- At least one year of recent ER experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and electronic documentation
- Ability to work under pressure, handle frequent public contact, and maintain professionalism
