We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse for a travel assignment, responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care during cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries. The role involves preparing the operating room, assembling equipment, collaborating with the surgical team, ensuring sterile procedures, and supporting patient safety before, during, and after surgery. Key responsibilities include patient positioning, handling specimens, responding to intraoperative emergencies, and maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications include:
- One year of recent CVOR RN experience
- Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification
Preferred skills and attributes:
- ACLS certification
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist in procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail
