Trauma Clinical Nurse

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated nurse for a full-time position in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center, specializing in trauma, geriatric trauma, and acute care surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
  • Educate patients and families on managing injuries, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while participating in professional development activities.
  • Develop and communicate individualized care plans with the healthcare team and patients, considering psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient preferences.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical and emotional needs, ensuring holistic care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and current RN licensure.
  • No prior experience required; preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safety consciousness.
