We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on psychological, emotional, and substance abuse issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting therapy sessions and actively participating in treatment planning
- Providing family counseling to ensure effective communication and support
- Engaging with clients, families, and referral sources through proactive communication
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nursing, and utilization review staff
- Communicating treatment progress and length of stay considerations to relevant team members
- Completing accurate and timely documentation for clients
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and current Clinical License
- Basic Life Support certification (within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS and PALS certifications (within six months of hire)
- Preferred: One year of relevant experience and ASLS certification
