Role Overview: The Teletherapy Facilitator ensures seamless remote therapy and assessment sessions for students, acting as the in-person link between students, clinicians, teachers, and schools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students with transitions to and from teletherapy sessions and prepare necessary equipment and materials.
- Log students into therapy platforms and communicate schedule changes to clinicians.
- Support technology setup and troubleshoot issues during sessions.
- Observe therapy sessions, provide student assistance as directed, and stage assessment materials securely.
- Coordinate scheduling and paperwork between clinicians and educational teams, ensuring compliance with IEPs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in education or technology are advantageous.
- Experience in educational support or technology assistance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
- Reliable, adaptable, patient, and capable of working effectively with children and professionals.
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed.
