Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) — Birmingham, Alabama
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting using telemetry to monitor and respond to patient status changes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support improved patient outcomes and continued professional growth.
Key Duties
- Monitor cardiac/telemetry readings and recognize clinically significant changes
- Assess patients, document findings, and communicate updates to the care team
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as ordered
- Use advanced clinical technology to support monitoring and decision-making
- Maintain patient safety, documentation accuracy, and compliance with care standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Telemetry/critical monitoring experience preferred
- Strong assessment skills and rapid response in high-acuity situations
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities
- Comfort with technology-enabled patient monitoring
