Telemetry Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
  • Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
  • Supports a safe environment by maintaining alertness and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborates with nursing staff, monitors patient rhythms via telemetry, and communicates changes effectively, including calling codes for lethal rhythms.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; RN license required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in inpatient care and telemetry monitoring is advantageous.
