Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)
Provide high-quality, patient-focused nursing care in an acute care setting by continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and interpreting telemetry strips. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective care.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythm data
- Assess patients and identify changes in clinical status
- Communicate findings and respond to urgent or critical patient needs
- Administer medications and support treatment plans
- Participate in care planning and coordination
- Educate patients and support understanding of care
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to act on changing patient conditions
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Effective communication and teamwork with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
- Patient-centered approach and commitment to compliance and safety
