Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. May perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans adhering to hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation in line with policies and maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collects, analyzes, and shares medical record information, and prepares reports as needed.
- Achieves assigned goals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic program; ARRT registration not currently required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- State licensing as required; ARRT certification preferred; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
