Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Also, executes additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.
- Achieves assigned goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred: 6 months of mammography experience.
- Minimum: ARRT(R) certification; BLS certification within 30 days; mammography certification within 12 months.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- State licensure as required.
- Preferred: ARRT(M) certification.
