Role: Surgical Technologist (Part-Time)
Responsibilities: Assist surgeons during procedures, prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile techniques, verify surgical sites, manage supplies and specimens, change dressings, and participate in emergency procedures and patient care activities. Act as a preceptor for students and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible under Pennsylvania Act 80, graduate of Specialty Training Program, strong attention to detail, adherence to aseptic techniques, and ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment.
Key Duties: Support surgical team, coordinate treatments, assist with patient care, maintain accurate documentation, perform quality control, and participate in on-call rotations. Additional tasks include specimen collection, patient transport, and post-mortem care.
