Surgical Technologist II role supporting the perioperative team by preparing and maintaining sterile fields and surgical instruments for a variety of procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure availability of appropriate equipment and implants.
- Maintain strict sterile technique and uphold patient safety standards throughout procedures.
- Prepare, organize, and set up surgical instruments and sterile supplies.
- Assist with the effective flow of the operating room by coordinating required resources.
- Mentor and support newer staff in perioperative best practices.
- Participate in quality initiatives and process improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes.
